May is speech and hearing month! Join us as we share information about hearing loss and address hearing health. Do you have questions about when hearing devices are needed or what type of device is best? Dr. Andrea Wagner from Advance Hearing Care, downtown Bartlesville, will offer more information about hearing health including: how normal hearing works the different types of hearing loss an explanation of over-the-counter hearing aids vs prescription hearing aide and when to consider amplification/hearing aids/cognitive implications Elder Care's speech pathologist, Abigayl Petermann, MS CCC-SLP, rounds out the seminar by highlighting speech therapy and its benefits.
