After Care Program

Foundation Therapy Specialists After Care Program allows clients who have completed their therapy program the opportunity to use all the gym equipment at their convenience to help maintain strength gained during physical therapy. For a nominal monthly fee, participants of the After Care program enjoy using the Foundation Therapy Specialists gym as an exercise facility.

PWR! Moves

PWR! Moves is a Parkinson-specific skill training program developed by Parkinson Wellness Recovery. Treatments focus on aerobic exercise, large amplitude, intentional movements that optimize function. Following one-on-one care, we offer community PWR Moves® classes twice per week.

SPEAK OUT! & LOUD CROWD

SPEAK OUT! ® is a program developed by the Parkinson Voice Project specifically for individuals with voice disorders related to Parkinson’s disease. LOUD CROWD ® is a weekly group available to monitor and maintain speech therapy gains made through SPEAK OUT!

Brain Gains

Brain Gains is a “cognitive gym” designed to support cognitive health throughout the aging process as well as recovery after a neurological injury. Activities for both individuals and partners or groups are available and include:

  • Puzzle books (number puzzles, word puzzles, logic puzzles)
  • Books for learning skills (cooking, construction, ASL, etc)
  • Keyboard and ukulele with instructional materials
  • RefleXion electronic neuro training board
  • Story starters and journal prompts
  • Conversational prompts
  • Games (card games, strategy games, number games, word games)
  • Digital apps
  • Hands-on challenges/projects

Brain Gains is open to the community during our regular business hours. For groups of three or more, please call in advance, 918-336-8500.

After Care

Available for All Adults

After Care is available for all adults in the community. $25/ billed monthly. No commitments. Must be seen by one of Elder Care’s physical therapists to enroll. Call Foundation Therapy Specialists for more information at (918) 766-0391.
