Our Resources

Elder Care is dedicated to helping seniors receive the services they need, even if we are unable to meet those needs. We are a free resource for community referrals, caregiving services, medical equipment, transportation, and more. If there is information you would like to know about, please reach out to us!

Case Management

Elder Care provides Case Management Services through the Advantage program. The Advantage Medicaid Waiver program provides alternatives to placement in a nursing facility for eligible adults. Members must meet income requirements and be nursing facility level of care to qualify through Oklahoma Human Services.

Cool Room Project

The Cool Room Project was designed to offer relief to seniors in our community who do not have air conditioning in their homes during the hottest months of the year. Air conditioners are available (to those who qualify) at the beginning of summer and must be returned to Elder Care at the end of summer.

Medical Equipment

Elder Care provides, at no charge, the ability for people to borrow medical equipment such as walkers, canes, wheelchairs, shower chairs, etc. Medical equipment can be expensive, and often the need is only temporary. As a result, we appreciate receiving equipment donated to us. Then we, in turn, can loan that equipment out to people who need it.

Library & Online Resources

We are a free resource for community referrals, caregiving services, and the issues related to aging. We can access information on Medicare or Social Security, addresses for various types of living arrangements, and contacts for nursing and other services throughout the local area.

Transportation

Elder Care offers transportation for DayBreak participants to attend our DayBreak program – Washington and Nowata Counties only.  Bartlesville also offers CityRide Circuit, which is a flexible fixed-route system designed to address the unmet transportation needs of Washington County in order to improve economic development and enhance the quality of life.
