Rachel Johnson, DPT, completes Dry Needling Certification

[Bartlesville, Oklahoma] – April 11, 2024 — Elder Care

Rachel Johnson, DPT, Physical Therapist with Foundation Therapy Specialists, a program of Elder Care, completed certification for Dry Needling recently. Dry needling is the process of using a fine needle to penetrate layers of muscle tissues to reach underlying trigger points in the muscle to relieve tension and accelerate recovery. It can also be used on other connective tissues, such as ligaments and tendons to promote healing. According to Josh Lindblom, Director of Therapy, “Rachel’s certification further expands treatment options for our patients at Foundation Therapy.”

Rachel Johnson has been with Elder Care as a physical therapist since 2023. Foundation Therapy Specialists provides outpatient services to adults of all ages.
