Triad Eye Screening at Elder Care

Elder Care hosts Triad Eye Screenings. Screenings are provided by a licensed Optometrist. Screening is for glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic eye disease, retinal diseases, external diseases of eyes and lids and dry eyes. No dilation used. Free and open to all individuals 55 and older. Alzheimer’s in our Community-Dr. Jason L. King, MD – Neurologist

The October 10 event features local neurologist, Dr. Jason L. King, MD. Dr. King is part of the Ascension Medical Group St. John Neurology & Stroke Care Bartlesville. King graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2020 after completing a fellowship in vascular neurology. Prior to this, he received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. Triad Eye Institute: “Cataract Removal & Other Eye Surgeries”

This seminar will feature Dr. Valerie Lobodiak, with Triad Eye Institute Bartlesville, who will discuss cataract and other eye surgeries. Dr. Lobodiak is a board-certified ophthalmologist who practices with an emphasis on cataract removal and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) at Triad Eye Institute. She attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Zoology/Biomedical Sciences and attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma. While there, she was elected to the Alpha Omega Honor Society. She completed her residency at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City. Open to all adults at no cost. RSVP to Elder Care. Joe Todd, served in Vietnam, Desert Storm, and Haiti. As a historian with the Oklahoma Historical Society, Joe began interviewing veterans who served in WWI and WWII. Over the past two decades, Joe has interviewed approximately 2,000 veterans and senior citizens throughout northeast Oklahoma. The November 9 event features Dr. Sarah Land, DO, founder and Director of Central States Research in Tulsa. CSR is a dedicated clinical research site that can offer cutting edge treatments in multiple therapeutic areas. Current trials include trials for a range of Alzheimer’s Disease and Mild Cognitive Impairment. Dr. Land is Board Certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology; American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry; and National Board of Physicians and Surgeons.
