Book signing to benefit Elder Care
Elder Care will host a book signing for local author Bob Fraser to promote his new book, Frankly Speaking, which focuses on behind-the-scenes tales about legendary local oil icon Frank Phillips and historic Woolaroc. In addition to the book signing, Fraser will entertain guests by recounting a few "tales" from his book and a few tales not mentioned in the book. Light refreshments will be served, including Frank Phillips' favorite summertime drink. Guests may purchase Fraser's book for $10, with a portion to be donated to Elder Care. The event is set for Tuesday, August 15, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Elder Care, 1223 Swan Drive, Bartlesville. For planning purposes, guests are asked to RSVP in advance to Elder Care at (918) 336-8500.
