Elder Care Welcomes Michael Colaw as New Development Director

Elder Care is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Colaw as the new Development Director. Michael, a longtime Bartlesville resident joins Elder Care with a passion for community service and an extensive background in ministry, management, and training.

Originally from Enid, OK, Michael moved to Bartlesville in 1990 and has called it home ever since. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry from Oklahoma Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in ministry and leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. With 17 years of experience in ministry at organizations including Bartlesville KLIFE, First Wesleyan Church, and Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Michael has demonstrated a commitment to guiding others and strengthening his community.

In the private sector, Michael most recently served as Supervisor for Fraud Policy and Training at Arvest Bank, leveraging his strong analytical and leadership skills. His previous tenure with ConocoPhillips and Phillips 66 spanned over a decade, where he held multiple roles, including Finance Recruiting Coordinator and Marketing Help Desk Supervisor.

Michael’s dedication to community involvement is reflected in his service on various local boards, including Visit Bartlesville and Ray of Hope. His contributions to Bartlesville’s development and support for local arts and youth organizations demonstrate his longstanding commitment to enhancing the well-being of the community he loves.
