Thursday, February 16  |  6:00 pm – 7:30 pm   |  Elder Care, 1223 Swan Drive.  Cynthia Simmons delighted us with her moving jazzy vocals and now she returns to Elder Care as a nationally recognized recording artist.

Cynthia has performed in many local venues including the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, Northeastern State University PAC, Kansas City’s Blue Room, Low Down Jazz Club and many others.

She has also been featured in several festivals such as the TEG International Jazz Fest Presented by SpiritBank, the Chet Baker Festival, the Rose Festival of Broken Arrow, the International Jazz Day Celebration, the Feel Good Festival, and the PostOak Wine and Jazz Festival.

On March 15, 2022 Cynthia released her first single “Skylark” on the Tulsa Jazz label. April 30, 2022 she released an EP “Original Cyn” featuring some of her personal favorites, and on July 30 she released her second single “The Nearness of You” both singles can be enjoyed on the “Original Cyn” EP. Cynthia’s music can be purchased or streamed on all music platforms and on YouTube!

In July 2022 Cynthia formed her first official music group The Cynthia Simmons Trio which features Brad Henderson on piano, Matt Hayes on Upright Bass, and Cynthia on Vocals!
