Fall Foliage & Hochatown Arts and Craft Festival

This 3-day adventure will take you through the Oklahoma hills, mountains, lakes, and countryside. Experience the best of Oklahoma fall foliage and beautiful vistas along the Talimena National Scenic Byway. Talimena Drive is a winding road through the Ouachita National Forest along a mountain ridge that follows the highest peaks in the area. It offers spectacular scenery like Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park.

At the end of the byway is the Broken Bow resort area where we will spend time meandering through the nationally acclaimed Beaver Bend Festival and Craft Show. The festival’s highlights include turn-of-the-century craft demonstrators, fine arts and crafts, talented folk musicians, and yummy things to eat. Your senses will come alive as you immerse yourself in the magnificent views and sweet, fresh smells of the changing seasons.

There will be free time to explore the area, take a boat ride, shop, or just relax. So, get your camera ready, bring along a friend, sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride through Oklahoma and Arkansas’ spectacular mountains.
