SUMMARY:Gentle Yoga with Lesta
DESCRIPTION:Elder Care offers Gentle Yoga with Lesta. This eight-week session will focus on gentle stretching\, core strengthening\, and breathing techniques. Throughout the class\, participants will be guided through gentle stretches for core strengthening that emphasize endurance\, postural correction\, and coordinated balance. The movements may be performed while seated or on the floor\, and are suitable for both beginners or more advanced yogis. \nClasses are held Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 am to 10:50 am. Begins 8/12 and ends 10/7. The cost is $5/class or $80 for the 8-week class. The cost is prorated after the 2nd week.  No membership is required\, although a participation agreement/waiver is needed. \nOpen to all adults. A minimum of 5 enrolled participants is needed to offer each class. Registrations for the August – October class must be received by 8/7/24. DESCRIPTION:Kori Sauer\, a proud third-generation resident of Bartlesville\, OK\, embarked on her nursing career in 2006 after graduating from the University of Oklahoma. She gained valuable experience at Jane Phillips Medical Center\, working in various areas such as med-surg\, ICU\, ER\, and cardiac care from 2006 to 2013. In pursuit of her passion for family practice\, Kori obtained her master’s degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2013. Following graduation\, Kori joined Regional Dermatology in Bartlesville\, collaborating with dermatologist Dr. David Eslicker. In  2019\, she continued her dermatology journey at Hill Dermatology\, working alongside Dr. Tamara Hill. With a focus on general dermatology and expertise in Botox treatments\, Kori obtained her  dermatology certification in 2020\, distinguishing her as the sole dermatology-certified nurse practitioner in Oklahoma at that time.
