It also features informative programs with guest speakers\, videos\, and discussions that focus on practical help for caregiving. \nAre you a Caregiver?\nHelping a loved one can be bewildering and daunting. You may feel concerned or alone and wonder what the future will bring during this difficult time. You may be an adult child caring for a parent or a spouse caring for your husband/wife and need support. Family members caring for a loved one and professional caregivers alike need a resource to discuss issues and ask questions in a supportive and nurturing environment. \nSharing your experiences with others is a therapeutic way to overcome challenges. SUMMARY:Gentle Yoga with Lesta
DESCRIPTION:Elder Care offers Gentle Yoga with Lesta. This eight-week session will focus on gentle stretching\, core strengthening\, and breathing techniques. Throughout the class\, participants will be guided through gentle stretches for core strengthening that emphasize endurance\, postural correction\, and coordinated balance. The movements may be performed while seated or on the floor\, and are suitable for both beginners or more advanced yogis. \nClasses are held Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 am to 10:50 am. Begins 8/12 and ends 10/7. The cost is $5/class or $80 for the 8-week class. The cost is prorated after the 2nd week.  No membership is required\, although a participation agreement/waiver is needed. \nOpen to all adults. A minimum of 5 enrolled participants is needed to offer each class. Registrations for the August – October class must be received by 8/7/24.
