DESCRIPTION:Elder Care offers Gentle Yoga with Lesta. This eight-week session will focus on gentle stretching\, core strengthening\, and breathing techniques. Throughout the class\, participants will be guided through gentle stretches for core strengthening that emphasize endurance\, postural correction\, and coordinated balance. The movements may be performed while seated or on the floor\, and are suitable for both beginners or more advanced yogis. \nClasses are held Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 am to 10:50 am. Begins 8/12 and ends 10/7. The cost is $5/class or $80 for the 8-week class. The cost is prorated after the 2nd week.  No membership is required\, although a participation agreement/waiver is needed. \nOpen to all adults. Wade received bachelor’s degrees in music education (vocal) and piano performance from Lamar University in Beaumont\, Texas. He also earned master’s degrees in piano performance and church music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth\, Texas. His career as a performer across the United States spans decades. Since 2009\, Wade has served as music minister at First Baptist Church of Bartlesville\, where he has produced several full-capacity presentations.  Guests are encouraged to get into the holiday spirit by wearing ugly Christmas sweaters and bringing holiday cookies to share (optional). \nRegister here \n  \nVolunteer for this event
