Tai Chi Tutorial

Tai Chi

Tai Chi has been helping its practitioners increase balance and focus for hundreds of years. It is composed of slow-motion martial arts movements and can be safely practiced by students of all ages. Dixie Squires has been a student of Tai Chi Master Judy Fu for twelve years. She has taught tai chi for nine years in her ministry at Bartlesville First Church. More recently, she also teaches at Hopestone and at Unity Square during the summer. She is certified on all four levels: Yang style Eight, Twenty-four, Forty-eight, and the highest level taught in Bartlesville, Forty-two.

Tai Chi at Elder Care, is open to all ages at no cost. The program includes reflexology, breathing, and balance movements. Elder Care is located at 1223 Swan Drive, Bartlesville, OK 74006.  RSVP by January 15, 2023, to Elder Care. Call 918-336-8500.

As of March 15, 2023 we will not offer Tai Chi at Elder Care. Please visit Hopestone or Bartlesville First Church for Tai Chi classes.
